The AI Village is a group of hackers and data scientists focused on educating people about both the beneficial and potentially harmful uses of artificial intelligence (AI) in security and privacy. The group aims to introduce diverse perspectives to this field and expand the community of hackers, engineers, researchers, and policymakers dedicated to enhancing the safety of AI technologies. The belief is strong in the importance of having more individuals with a hacker mindset to examine and test AI systems. The AI Village also participates in DEF CON, the biggest and longest-running hacking conference in the world.
